Jesse F. Ortega’s business cognizance is his most valuable asset. Mr. Ortega has been in the construction business for over fifty (50) years. He has owned and operated a drywall supply firm, an insulation service firm and a nationwide drywall service firm known as Discount Drywall. In addition, he was granted a U.S. patent for an innovative gypsum concrete that was applied across the United States. Today, Mr. Ortega is involved in the strategic planning of WestStar Drywall.
Donald W. Ortega | Senior Vice-President
For over thirty (30) years, Donald W. Ortega has ascertained an expansive knowledge of construction, focusing on overseeing several projects at a time. For over 10 years, he served as General Manager of East Coast Field Operations for a sister satellite office in Maryland. It includes projects ranging from 100 to 500 units. His acuteness to keep projects on schedule by managing field operations and sustaining proper field coordination make each project proceed efficiently to completion.
Jesse Dean Ortega | Executive Vice-President
Jesse Dean’s vast knowledge of thirty-five (35) years of experience in the construction industry encompasses single family, multi-family, light commercial and mid-rise construction. It includes projects in various states (e.g., Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and West Virginia) of which is inclusive of student housing, extended living, affordable housing, mid-town and urban mixed-use projects. His experience is invaluable with budgeting, scheduling and overseeing the project from start to end.
Mark A. Griffin | General Manager
Mark Griffin has been with WestStar for over twelve (12) years. He plans, directs and coordinates activities in the office and in the field. In addition, he confers with project staff to ensure that the purchased products conform to the specified project requirements. Moreover, he evaluates and selects our suppliers based on their ability to provide sufficient resources at a competitive cost.
Lynnie Griffin | Controller
Lynnie Griffin’s adeptness to manage financials and office staff has originated from over a decade of experience with small to midsize companies. She has successfully implemented a comprehensive construction accounting system that integrates job costing and project management, with the ability for remote access. She directs all areas of accounting from day-to-day operations to financial statements and tax filings.
